DILAS Diode Laser Inc. (Tucson, AZ) introduced a line of fiber-coupled diode-laser modules delivering up to 40 W continuous-wave output power at wavelengths of 808nm, 915nm, 940nm,and 980nm via a 400μm-diameter, single-core, multi-mode fiber. Measuring less than100 × 31 × 20 mm and having a wall-plug efficiency of less than 35%, the spectral width is less than 3 mm, FWHM. The laser power from the module is delivered via the fiber, which is terminated with a standard SMA 905 connector. The unit is available in an overall height of less than 30 mm including optional features such as power monitor and temperature sensor.
