Lumitex, Inc. (Strongsville, OH) released a family of products — BendiGloTM, HoloGloTM, CircleGloTM, and Selective LightingTM — based on their existing UniGloTM technology to backlight shapes such as rectangles, ovals, circles, semi-circles, holes, and other unusually shaped geometries. Optical fiber is mounted on a back reflector to create lighting panels of 0.33 mm. BendiGlo is for hard-to-reach areas in membrane switches; HoloGlo follows paths around/between shapes and die-cut holes; CircleGlo is used in one to three layers for circular areas with a hole; and Selective Lighting creates selective area panel lighting.
