TOPTICA Photonics AG (Munich, German) has introduced the DL pro 780, a Littrow-type grating stabilized diode laser featuring a wavelength tuning range of 765 nm -795 nm, optical output power up to 80 mW, and mode-hop-free tuning > 50 GHz. The laser also offers linewidth ~ 500 kHz, and RockSolid II design, which reduces susceptibility to environmental acoustic noise. The DL pro 780 is suitable for use in high-resolution laser spectroscopy, laser cooling and BEC, electromagnetically induced transparency, and magnetometry.
