The EDF-T9 from StockerYale (Salem, NH) is an erbium-doped amplifier fiber that uses the company’s proprietary doping method to enable homogeneous glass matrix and control aluminum content. The EDF-T9 can be customized to match the gain spectrum of any existing gain-flattening filter and any other standard EDF. The company also offers a line of short-wavelength fibers that can be used in RGB imaging systems and laser diode pigtails.
