Compact Linear Actuator

The LCB Series from Parker Hannifin Corp. (Cleveland, OH) is a line of compact linear actuators featuring a low-friction, dry running, sliding bearing carriage. An external sliding guide, with dry-film lubricant, is incorporated as part of the aluminum profile. A sliding carriage is available in three sizes to increase load capacity and sliding blocks ensure smooth travel motion without detensioning the timing belt. Low carriage mass and a steel-reinforced timing belt augment acceleration and velocity. With acceleration at 20 m/s² and speeds up to 8 m/s, two profile sizes are available: LCB040 and LCB060. Options cover R/L drive orientation, drive shaft type (single/double), free drive shaft, or as equipped with coupling kit.
