Color Dome

The ESD-380DR high-speed color dome from ELMO USA Corp. (Plainview, NY) provides 360° continuous pan rotation at a travel speed from 5° to 400°/second. It operates from presets with 180° auto turnaround. The ESD-380DR features tilt travel from -10° to 190°, and 256 programmable preset pinpoint target areas. Pan and tilt speed automatically adjust in proportion to the depth of zoom. The color dome includes an IP66-rated weather-resistant outdoor housing, and a day/night model that captures image details in glaring sunshine or darkness. Minimum illumination is 0.01lux. CCD color cameras with DSP circuitry provide resolution of 470 TVL images, and feature 23× optical zoom with 12× programmable zoom. A 24-position privacy zone-masking protects against intrusive monitoring. Other features include digital flip, auto/manual focus, auto iris, auto/manual white balance, auto/manual focus, backlight compensation, eight programmable alarm inputs, and an OSD display for setup.
