Toshiba Imaging Systems Division (Irvine, CA) offers the IK-TF9C three-chip, color CCD camera with a 2048 × 1536 pixel output resolution. It offers a full frame rate of 20 fps and a partial scan rate of 40 fps. The camera’s proprietary scan technology eliminates image-jitter for high-speed industrial machine vision applications.

Designed for integration into any machine vision system that requires high resolution and precision color definition, the camera weighs 165 g and measures 44 × 44 × 78.3 mm. It features a C-mount for lenses, an 8-bit RGB digital output, and Camera Link® compatibility. Applications include semiconductor inspection, food sorting and packaging, precision color web inspection, color printing, scientific imaging, medical diagnostics, and high-speed military imaging tasks.
