Fiber-Coupled Laser Diode Module

The IQμ4X(760-5) from Power Technology (Little Rock, AR) is a fiber-coupled DFB IQ (Instrument Quality) laser diode module that features a current source and a PID temperature controller. It is available with 20-MHz analog beam modulation or 100-MHz digital beam modulation. The unit measures 1.5" in diameter and 7.52" in length, and can operate in either constant current or automatic power control mode.

At 760 nm, the module emits 5 mW of output power with a spectral width of 2 MHz. It will accommodate fiber-coupled 14-pin butterfly, DIP, and DIL packages. For control, the module features an on-board menu-driven microprocessor. The diodes can be used for various applications including fluorescence, spectroscopy, interferometry, high-resolution printing, display, and microscopy.
