BFi OPTiLAS, Evry, France, offers the L3-Communication Thermal-EyeTM 4500AS high-resolution thermal imaging camera core for integrators of handheld cameras and hands-free thermal imaging products. It uses the amorphous silicon microbolometer detector technology and features a 30-μm detector providing real-time 30-Hz frame rate, thermal sensitivity, and dynamic range. Customizable absolute color enables integrators to associate a display color with any scene temperature in the range of -40 to 650°C. The camera is available with a 50° FOV lens or a 12° FOV lens.
