The FLIR i5 and FLIR i7 thermal imagers from FLIR Systems, Portland, OR, produce infrared images with a 2.8" color display and 2% thermal accuracy. The FLIR i5, which has an 80 × 80 pixel resolution, provides a center-spot measurement mode. For extensive analysis of job sites, the FLIR i7, which has a RESNET-compliant, 120 × 120 pixel resolution, adds two measurement nodes: area (minimum/maximum) and isotherm (above/below). Both IR cameras capture temperature analysis/reporting in FLIR’s patented radiometric JPEG format.
