The CMOS IK-HR1H miniature remote camera head from Toshiba Imaging Systems Division, Irvine, CA, can be configured with either of two camera control units (CCUs), the IK-HR1CD and the IK-HR1CS. The lightweight remote camera head is approximately 1.18 × 1.37 × 1.41" and weighs 1.76 ounces without the lens. The 1/3" CMOS sensor is designed for imaging applications where space is limited and the remote head can be inked to the CCU via a standard power-over-CameraLink (PoCL) cable.

Two output versions are available: the IK-HR1CD CCU offers a DVI-I with 720p/1080i/1080p, and the IK-HR1S CCU features an HD-SDI with 720p/1080i video signal outputs. The cameras feature optional auto and manual white balance controls, plus optional auto manual electronic shuttering.
