The ZLED7015 step-up converter from ZMD AG (Dresden, Germany) features an integrated 35V power switch for high-brightness LEDs. The input voltage ranges from 6V to 30V. The converter, which includes a 0.3V voltage feedback mechanism, has a soft-start function and open circuit detection capability.

The output current, programmable via external components, features PWM, Linear, and DC voltage dimming. With an adjustable over voltage protection, the chip and the system operates safely when the load is not connected or the output is short circuited. A built-in soft start circuit reduces the inrush current during start-up.
