Magnalight.com from Larson Electronics (Kemp, TX) has announced its explosion-proof BLG-LED-4 LED blasting gun light. Battery powered and mounted to a standard industrial blasting gun, the BLG-LED-4 LED includes a lens cover to protect the light from the damaging effects of blasting materials. The lens cover is constructed of tempered glass and can be slipped out and replaced with a new lens as needed. A spring loaded fastener keeps the lens in place, and no tools are required to perform lens replacements.

The Magnalight LED blasting light is certified Zone Zero for use in Class 1 Division 1 areas and Class 2 Division 1 areas. The device carries IECEx and ATEX certifications for international use. The LED blasting gun light provides additional performance through batterypowered operation. The light will operate for 80+ hours on a single set of batteries, and produce 90 lumens of intense light in a concentrated beam. A rugged nylon housing protects against damage from impacts and watertight operation in wet environments.
