AC/DC LED Drivers

The PDA080B-48VG LED driver from Phihong USA (Fremont, CA) is rated for inputs of 100 VAC to 304 VAC. The driver, which has a maximum output of 80W at 48 VDC and 1.67A, is compliant with UL8750 and bears safety approvals from CE and cUL/UL. The water-resistant PDA080B features an ingress protection rating of 65; it can withstand temperatures ranging from -40°C to +60°C.

The driver has a minimum average efficiency rating ranging from 84% at 120 VAC input to over 88% at 277 VAC input. It has a calculated lifespan of 50,000 hours when operating at maximum load and an ambient 50°C. The 80W LED driver also comes equipped with input over-current, short-circuit, output over-voltage, and open-circuit protection. Each driver measures 241 × 43 × 30.5 mm and weighs 750 grams.
