Slotless Motor

Koford Engineering LLC (Winchester, OH) has introduced a short-length 28 mm (1.102") diameter slotless 2-pole motor with an axial length of 23.9 mm (.941"). The motor is designed for applications with limited available axial length, and features winding from 4,428 rpm up to 14,952 rpm. Custom winds to meet special applications are also available. An ambient temperature range from -73 to 100 ºC and a maximum internal temperature of 150 ºC allow a wide range of applications such as blowers, pumps, beam choppers, and scanners. The slotless design offers no cog, resulting in smooth rotation. Matching sensorless drives are also available.
