High-Resolution Cameras

Allied Vision Technologies (Newburyport, MA) has expanded the Prosilica GT camera series with five new high-resolution models from 9.2 to 29 Megapixels. The Prosilica GT4100, featuring a CMV12000 global shutter CMOS sensor from CMOSIS, offers 12.6 Megapixel resolution. It delivers up to 7.5 fps at full resolution. The Prosilica GT4905 and Prosilica GT4907 both include a 16 Megapixel CCD sensor from Truesense Imaging. The fifth model, Prosilica GT6600, outputs 6576 × 4384 pixels at 4 fps. All three Truesense sensors have a vertical overflow drain structure designed to suppress image blooming. The cameras are also equipped with an Fmount as standard.
