KEYENCE Corp. (Elmwood Park, NJ) has introduced the CV-X100 Series. New tools include Auto-Teach Inspection, as well as pointand- click measurement. The Auto-Teach Inspection technology automatically makes detections based off of a set of learned “good” parts. High-precision measurements can be done quickly and easily through mouse operations, with no calculations required.

A Camera Installation Replication tool also guides users to adjust the camera and lens with the correct position, focus, and brightness settings. The new CV-X100 PC software automatically generates a manual customized to the user’s specific programs. The generated user manual will include explanations of the main parameters, a list of tools to be used, and basic settings.
