The S-MIZE EM high-speed camera from AOS Technologies AG (Baden, Switzerland) has built-in PowerPC architecture, which duplicates the control and status lines of a film camera. A range of available connectors also enable integration.

The device offers a high light sensitivity, allowing high lens aperture numbers for an extended depth of field. The device, in compliance with MIL standards, is designed and built to withstand extreme ambient conditions. A built-in battery also allows autonomous operation without external power cables and power supplies.

Other features include progressive CMOS sensor, 1280 × 1024 pixels, mono or color; light sensitivity of ISO 3200 (monochrome), ISO 1600 (color); dynamic range of 5-, 8- or 10 bit, adjustable by user; and 500 fps @ 1280 × 1024 pixels.
