Acopian Power Supplies (Easton, PA) announced that its Narrow Profile power supply series is now certified to UL Safety Standards UL 60950 (Information Technology Equipment) and UL 508 (Industrial Control Equipment), and conforms to all of the legal requirements to achieve CE marking. The single-output switching regulated AC-DC and DC-DC power supplies provide up to 288 Watts of output power, and operate from a universal input of 90-265 VAC, 49-420 Hz, single phase, or 110-350 VDC. They offer extremely low output ripple and noise <⁄= 150 mV RMS typical. The series consists of both forced-air and convection-cooled (fanless) models. The forced-air units are available with either one or two fans and measure 1.7" (L) x 3.5" (W) x 9.8"(H). Convection-cooled devices measure 1.7" (L) x 3.5" (W) x 8.8" (H).
