CMOS Camera

The Imaging Source (Bremen, Germany/Charlotte, NC) has announced industrial cameras with the Sony Full HD WDR Sensor IMX236. The cameras are available as GigE (PoE) and USB 3 versions in monochrome and color. Other features include integrated WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) and a resolution from VGA to Full HD. The maximum frames-per-second at Full HD is 60 fps; 145 fps is possible at VGA resolution. All cameras are shipped with drivers for LabView, HALCON, MERLIC, VisionPro, DirectX, Twain, and NeuroCheck. End-user applications; an SDK consisting of .NET and ActiveX components; and a C++ class library are included. The cameras also ship with IC Capture, end-user software to set all camera parameters.
