Photron (San Diego, CA) has released the FASTCAM Mini WX 50 camera. The device provides up to 750 frames per second at full four-megapixel resolution; 1080 HD performance is achieved at 1,500 frames per second. The 120 x 120 x 99-mm Mini WX 50 weighs 3.5 lbs and features 12-bit ADC. Memory options range from 4 GB to 8 GB, and up to 16 GB with Gigabit Ethernet interface capability. Light sensitivity is measured to the ISO Ssat 12232 standard: ISO 6,400 monochrome and ISO 2,000 color. The high-speed cameras also feature Fmount and C-mount lens mounts.
