Teledyne DALSA (Waterloo, ON, Canada) has expanded its Linea™ line scan cameras to include a new 8k GigE Vision model. The Linea 8k uses Teledyne DALSA’s CMOS sensor with 7.04 × 7.04 μm pixel size. The camera achieves a maximum line rate of up to 45 kHz. Cycling mode allows users to cycle through preset camera parameters, gain, exposure time, I/O outputs, and FFC coefficients for each line. An extended dynamic range feature combines short and long exposure images to output images with high contrast in both dark and bright areas.
