The IK-HD5UM HD video camera from Toshiba Imaging Systems Division (Irvine, CA) meets IEC 60601-1 medical design standards for surgical imaging applications. The 3- CMOS high-definition camera has a 1920 × 1080 pixel format, with both DVI-D and USB 3.0 outputs. Other features include C-mount lens mount, remote control via RS232, switchable formats between 1080p and 1080i, up to 1,000 TV lines resolution, 5 user-configurable scene files, and a binning mode for a 4x increase in sensitivity.
