Basler (Ahrensburg, Germany/Exton, PA) offers two new ace model cameras. Equipped with ON Semiconductor’s PYTHON sensors and Sony’s IMX174 and IMX249 devices, the twelve cameras provide resolutions from VGA to 1.3 megapixels, and frame rates of up to 750 fps. The ace models have a resolution of 2.3 megapixels and frame rates of 50 (GigE) or 155 frames (USB 3.0) per second. Other capabilities include global shutter technology, dynamic range of 73 db, and in-camera firmware. The 29 × 29 × 29 mm ace camera weighs 80 g.
