Vision Research (Wayne, NJ) has released the Phantom® Miro® C-Series. The high-speed cameras feature a 12-bit, ½- inch CMOS color or monochrome sensor. The camera records 800 frames per second at its full 1280 × 1084 resolution. Higher speeds, up to 29,840 fps, are possible at smaller resolutions. The C110 leverages common BNC and Ethernet connectors. The Miro C110’s 8 GB of internal memory allows users to record up to five seconds at the camera’s full resolution and maximum frame rate. Imaging applications include industrial troubleshooting, mechanical testing, and motion analysis.
