The OPT series of single and multi-fiber photoelectric amplifiers from AutomationDirect (Cumming, GA) are available with wide detection and working ranges that support transparent object recognition capability. The DIN rail-mountable units are equipped with NPN or PNP, push-pull, light-on/dark-on selectable outputs, a bargraph signal-strength indicator, a red LED with visible spot, and key potentiometer or teach-in pushbutton for configuration; IOLink communication is available on select units.

Available in four models, the OPT series fiber photoelectric amplifiers are IP50/IP65-rated. Also available are one-meter glass and two-meter cuttable plastic fiber optic cables for diffuse and through-beam modes.
