LASOS (Jena, Germany) has announced the commercial release of its MCS Series multi-color, laser-based light engines. The platform offers output power levels to 100 mW and up to six individual wavelengths from 405 to 785 nm. Product configurations include both benchtop, OEM, and 19-inch rack mount designs.

The MCS Series allows each laser to be individually controlled, with modulation speeds up to 250 MHz. Standard configurations include three, four, or six wavelengths, and custom devices are available for OEMs. Each laser in the MCS platform can be individually upgraded or serviced, and systems are available with collimated or fiber output — either beam combined or with separate outputs for each laser line.
