PowerPhotonic (Dalgety Bay, UK) has spent many years developing a laser machining and polishing process to create ultra-high efficiency refractive optics, used in high power collimation and beam shaping applications. This process unique to PowerPhotonic allows it to create beam shaper optics that transform the way in which the laser is used.

Using higher efficiency optics preserves the life of a high-power laser by enabling it to run at lower power. It makes system integration easier as less energy is dissipated as wasted heat. The ability to transform a single circular Gaussian shaped laser beam into different intensity profiles and beam shapes using different beam shaper optics adds enhanced utility to existing and new laser systems.
