Researchers Investigate Urban Ecosystem iImprovements
'Greenstreets' are specially engineered vegetated areas, such as medians and traffic islands, with benefits from managing stormwater to alleviating air pollution. In collaboration with the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation, and with support from the National Science Foundation, Drexel University researchers are collecting data to learn more about greenstreet design and environmental impact.
