Integrating UAS into Next-Generation Systems
Unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) could one day conduct a wide range of civilian and commercial tasks, but currently can only operate on a restricted basis in civil airspace. The MITRE Corporation is helping unmanned aircraft operate safely in the national airspace by integrating them into the FAA's air traffic control system.
