Blur-Canceling Roll Camera for Robotics Testing
Researchers from Ishikawa Watanabe Laboratory in Tokyo have developed an optical high-speed image rotation controller and a high-speed roll camera that is able to cancel the rotational motion blur of a rotating target. Rotational motion blur canceling allows analysis of velocity, deformation, or vibration during the rotation for robotics and measurement and inspection of rotary bodies, such as wheels, fans, engines, and gears.
