Meet the 'Cruise AV' Autonomous Car: Steering Wheel and Pedal-Free
The Cruise AV from General Motors is designed to operate on its own - with no driver, steering wheel, pedals, or other manual controls. The self-driving car is even designed to open and close doors on its own. GM has filed a Safety Petition with the Department of Transportation for the fourth-generation Cruise AV, which could potentially be on the road in 2019.
