NASA’s crawler-transporter 2 will carry the Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft from the Vehicle Assembly Building to Launch Pad 39B for the launch of Artemis 1. One of the few women to ever drive the crawler, mechanical engineer Breanne Stichler is part of a younger workforce at Kennedy Space Center preparing to expand human exploration to the Moon and Mars.

A recent graduate from the University of Central Florida with a degree in aerospace engineering, she interned for Jacobs Engineering Group the summer before her senior year.
