For developers of A.I.-guided drones and autonomous technologies, failure is not an option.

“Even if a human is flying a drone and they crash it, you still have someone to blame,” Ryan Gury, Chief Technology Officer of the Drone Racing League (DRL), told Tech Briefs. “I don't think there's any forgiveness for robots failing. I think in order for autonomous technologies to succeed, they have to be almost perfect."
