Martin Gagné has 30 years of experience working with zinc metal products, primarily on zinc coatings, castings, and energy applications and currently serves as the Principal of ZELIXIR Inc. Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in applied science from the University of Toronto and master’s degree in engineering from McMaster University. He is an award-winning public speaker, who has more than 60 published papers and one patent. Martin works primarily with national and international trade associations for technology transfer and market development of zinc products.

Ryan Winter, Vice President, Engineering Services, Eastern Alloys

Ryan Winter has more than 20 years of experience in the zinc die casting industry and currently serves as the Vice President of Engineering Services at Eastern Alloys. Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering and an MBA from the University of Utah. He has a comprehensive understanding of the zinc die casting industry in North America, contributes frequently to industry-wide zinc die casting market development activities, and often speaks at international conferences. Ryan is an expert in diagnosing die casting defects and is the main developer of the high-strength alloy EZAC®.
