The Pouch Cell Batteries Powering Joby's eVTOL

Joby Aviation has accomplished several major electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) program milestones this year. In June and July, the California-based developer rolled out its first production eVTOL aircraft and completed its first flight, respectively.

Joby is under contract to begin eVTOL deliveries to the U.S. Air Force next year and has a partnership agreement with Delta Air Lines to establish city-to-airport services in New York and Los Angeles.
