Mars Sample Return Aims to Return Mars Samples
A team at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab is designing a lander which will be the heaviest spacecraft ever to touch down on Mars — Mars Sample Return. As its name suggests, it aims to revolutionize our understanding of Mars by returning scientifically selected samples to Earth for study.
