2023 Create the Future Design Contest

The Create the Future Design Contest, launched in 2002 by SAE Media Group (publishers of Tech Briefs magazine), recognizes and rewards engineering innovations that benefit humanity, the environment, and the economy. The annual contest draws product designs from engineers, students, and entrepreneurs worldwide. The 2023 contest rewards innovation in seven categories: Aerospace & Defense, Automotive and Transportation, Electronics, Manufacturing and Materials, Medical, Robotics and Automation, and Sustainable Technology.

In this special section, you’ll learn about the finalists in all seven categories chosen from over 500 new product ideas submitted from more than 60 countries. The Grand Prize winner and category winners will be chosen during a live competition on November 10 and announced at www.createthefuturecontest.com .
