    00:00:05 welcome today we are going to be taking a look at engineering release found within the product release engineer role engineering release is a powerful browser-based application without the need to leverage dedicated cad tools users have the ability to edit existing create new engineering items release build materials and much more our assembly structure was previously

    00:00:26 modeled within solidworks when viewed in engineering release items are clearly visible with the ability to sort and filter on associated attributes toggling between direct and flattened views and even the ability to view full parts lists is easily accessible occasionally we need to add items to our assembly structure but don't have a need to model them

    00:00:51 our hydraulic lifting cylinder will need to be filled with oil at assembly a new material selected to be added the pre-configured material is easily searched for and added with the required quantity an item is then created to house the material within our assembly when switching back to our reference view our newly added material is clearly
