Maximizing Efficiency and Speed on the Factory Floor With Modern LiDAR Scanners

SPONSORED BY:

In today's competitive manufacturing landscape, efficiency and speed is paramount. For those who work with industrial equipment, on a factory, or in the field, finding errors and planning installations can be a costly and time-consuming process to do efficiently. New technology, however, has allowed unprecedented capabilities to capture the needed information to make critical decisions faster than ever with the help of 3D scanning. The results are more reliable, efficient, and streamlined workflows, enhanced precision, and accelerated production cycles through simplified scanning of large spaces and equipment.

This 30-minute Webinar will shine a spotlight on cutting-edge scanning by discussing the Artec Ray II, a fast and precise LiDAR scanner used to digitize large industrial equipment and spaces.

Topics include:

  • Unlocking the full potential of technology on the factory floor
  • The capabilities of LiDAR using advanced, modern technology
  • Innovative ways to use the data industrial and factory needs

An audience Q&A will follow the technical presentation.

Speaker:

Matthew Fisher, Application Engineer, Hawk Ridge Systems

Matthew Fisher is an application engineer who specializes in all things 3D scanning. He began his career as a SOLIDWORKS user, and with extensive experience in 3D printing, Matthew now uses a variety of 3D scanners to inspect, reverse engineer, and create renders of products. With an interest in digital preservation, he also uses 3D scanning in his hobby, capturing unique finds around the city and parks. Matthew serves as Hawk Ridge Systems’ Application Engineer.
