Manufactured in the USA, Airmar’s high-performance multi-use ultrasonic air transducers deliver reliable non-contact sensing performance to demanding commercial and industrial measurement systems. Wireless Pressure Sensor

TE Connectivity, Winston-Salem, NC, has added two new wireless pressure sensors to its portfolio: 65xxN wireless pressure sensor, for short range coverage, and 69xxN wireless pressure sensor, for long range coverage. Designed for periodic condition monitoring, the 65xxN wireless pressure sensor leverages BLE (Bluetooth® low energy) 5.3 communications, to support localized data collection and transmission. Engineered with LoRaWAN® technology, the 69xxN wireless pressure sensor offers long-range coverage over several kilometers.

Particle Monitor

Emerson, Shakopee, MN, has announced the release of the Rosemount SAM42 Acoustic Particle Monitor for measuring the amount of entrained sand in the output from oil and gas wells. The monitor can detect extremely low concentrations of entrained sand in challenging conditions with a high level of measurement repeatability and sensitivity. With onboard data processing, real-time data helps minimize erosion risk, allowing producers to maximize throughput without compromising asset safety.
