Thermographic Zoom Camera

STMicroelectronics performed non-destructive fault analysis on chips, discrete components, sensors, LEDs, and power modules using Dresden, Germany-based InfraTec’s E-LIT system in Shenzhen, China, and Calamba, Philippines. The E-LIT solution employs Lock-in Thermography by selectively applying electrical excitation to detect and analyze local faults based on thermal anomalies. Using a high-end infrared camera from the ImageIR® series, even the smallest defects causing minimal temperature deviations can be detected, enabling effective fault isolation at chip and power module level.

Angle Sensors

Novotechnik U.S., Southborough, MA, introduced the Vert-X 13E Series of touchless rotary sensors. These sensors use a magnetic pick up that is secured to the rotating object, so that there is no direct mechanical linkage between the shaft and the measuring system, and therefore no wear. The Vert-X 13E Series is hermetically sealed, without any moving seals, to IP69 and therefore provides long life even under the harshest water, dust and oil environments.
