Boeing MQ-28 Ghost Bat Demonstrates International Teaming and Deployment Capabilities

Boeing has completed a series of major program milestones for its MQ-28 Ghost Bat, an autonomous collaborative combat aircraft (CCA) designed to team with crewed platforms.

During Exercise Valiant Shield 2026, the Australian-developed MQ-28  became the first collaborative combat aircraft to deploy to a multinational, joint operational exercise, flying alongside platforms including the F-15EX, F-35A, and F-35B. The exercise provided Boeing and U.S. Air Force teams with data on CCA deployment, sustainment, agile combat employment, and human-machine teaming in the Indo-Pacific.
