Lambda (San Diego, CA) has introduced the HWS1000 series of 1000-watt power supplies. The single-output power supplies are ideal for powering process control equipment, ATE, and factory automation systems. The power supplies meet the SEMI F4 power line sag specs. The units are available in 10 nominal output voltages including: 3.3, 5, 6, 7.5, 12, 15, 24, 36, 48, and 60-volts. Most models can be adjusted up to ±20% of nominal voltage to accommodate non-standard system voltages. The 7 through 60-volt models have a peak power rating of up to 1200-watts when operated with a line voltage of 200VAC or higher.
The HWS1000 series accepts input voltages from 85 to 265VAC and complies with the EN61000-3-2 power factor and harmonic correction standards. Remote On/Off, DC Good, and singlewire Current-Share signals are standard. Lambda's power supplies include an integral extended-life fan and have an ambient temperature range of -10°C to +71°C. With a compact metal case measuring 5 × 3.25 × 9.45 inches, the RoHS-compliant units are also suitable for mounting in a 2U rack. The new Lambda power supplies meet Class B EMI standards (radiated and conducted), are CE marked, and are safety-approved to UL60950, CSA60950, EN60950, and EN50178 specifications. They also meet IEC61000-4-X immunity standards and are RoHS-compliant.
