All-In-One Green Q-Switched DPSS Laser

Spectra-Physics® (Santa Clara, CA) has announced the world’s first 5 Watt, all-inone green Q-switched diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) laser that combines the laser head and electronics into a single, compact package. The Explorer® XP 532-5 laser operates across a wide repetition rate range from single shot up to 300 kHz, and features the industry’s smallest footprint with air-cooled design, offering thermal management of less than 100W under normal operating conditions. Superior beam quality results in improved spatial resolution and depth of focus, translating into wider process windows.
