Grippers

DPGplus sealed two-finger parallel grippers from Schunk (Morrisville, NC) are available in sizes 240 and 300. A pneumatic drive with oval pistons and multitooth guides ensure the user precise gripping for production machine and assembly applications. The grippers handle rough or dirty workpieces, and are suited for loading and unloading in harsh environments such as grinding machines, lathes, and milling machines. They also are suitable for use in powder coating systems or under water.

The sealed grippers feature sealing class IP67, with moments between 30 Nm and 160 Nm (22 to 188 ft. lbs.), depending on the direction of load and size of the unit, and grip forces to 2,630 lbf. The multi-tooth guide is combined with a round sealing surface of the base jaws toward the outside.
