Magnetic Lifting Tool

Bunting Magnetics (Newton, KS) offers the MagFORKLift that works with any type of forklift to move up to 1,100 pounds of material. It attaches to the two forks of a forklift and works in conjunction with four different sizes of Bunting® MagLift™ hand-controlled lifters, which hold, carry, and release loads. The lifters attach to the lifting tool and use permanent magnets to hold. They do not require special cables or electrical hookups. The system can safely handle different shapes and sizes of loads, and concentrate magnetic energy to hold through air gaps and surface coatings. The magnet is “turned on” by rotating the control handle, and a mechanical locking mechanism ensures that it cannot be released accidentally.
