Igus Inc. (East Providence, RI) is offering a highly-resistant bearing with a wall thickness of just 3 mm. Part of the company’s line of igubal(R) spherical bearings, the bearing requires minimal installation space, is self aligning, requires no lubrication, and is easily installed.

The bearing’s housing and spherical ball liner absorbs vibrations differently than steel. It is made of igumid G, a reinforced polymer. The internal, independently moving spherical ball is made of iglide(R) L280, with a minimum coefficient of friction with the shaft.
