Rotary Seal

American High Performance Seals (Pittsburgh, PA) has announced its Rotaflon rotary seal which minimizes shaft damage and reduces power consumption. The seal accommodates changing operating conditions, low breakout force, and provides superior chemical resistance. It accommodates surface speeds to 5900 ft/min and temperatures from -58 F to +500°F and is suited for poor lubrication conditions.

Two versions of the seal are available. The RB incorporates an elastomer seal lip with a bonded, low friction surface. The MC series incorporates a high-performance polymer seal available with a single or double lip.
