The Cooke Corp.’s (Romulus, MI) pco.1200hs camera is a high-speed, 10-bit CMOS camera with integrated 1 GB, 2 GB, or 4 GB of RAM memory that enables image recording at rates up 1 GB/s. Designed for high-speed camera applications such as material testing, external crash tests, and super slow-motion movie clips, the camera system features a resolution of 1280 × 1024 pixels, low-noise electronics, and external power supply. Data interfaces include IEEE 1394, CameraLink, and 10/100 Ethernet. Exposure times range from 1 μs (50 ns optional) to 5 s. Optional Camware software allows the user to remotely control camera functions and image acquisition, as well as archive images in various file formats. Camware operates in either single mode or with built-in recorder functions, and comes with drivers for popular third-party software packages.
